Junior Translator - 12 month contract

The Brick is actively seeking to expand our Human Resources team with a translation position. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic and have a great customer-focused attitude. 

Reporting to the Senior Translator, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing translation duties of a technical nature, as well as general.

• Price tags maintenance - Translation of item description, features, and benefits
• Communications with stores - Seek and translate answers to general questions and inquiries about specific promotions, prices, products, etc. 
• Providing support to the Purchasing department, as requested
• Translations and proofreading of instruction manuals, as well as internal training documents
• Participate in general translation projects where assigned

• Perfectly bilingual (French/English)
• Impeccable communication and grammar skills, written and verbal
• Diploma and experience in translation and retail an asset
• Computer proficiency, ability to work on internal systems (training provided)
• Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality
• High level of initiative and drive
• Service-focused and knowledge of the principles and processes required for exceptional service in a timely manner
